A sweet casting rod.  Crisp and precise, but has enough power to control a fish.

Of all the Tenkara rods I've fished to date, this is the rod with the most "backbone".  Although even a bluegill will put a bend in this rod, I can easily fish a bluegill/bass bug on a 21' weight forward furled line with a 10' tapered leader.

This is a very slow, soft rod.  Once you get used to the casting stroke, it is a very pleasant rod to fish.  Even a smallish bluegill will put a major bend in this rod.
